The Happytime Murders
Coming to a theater near you in August of this year is The Happytime Murders which is directed and produced by puppeteer extraordinaire, Brian Henson. It is a star-studded movie where puppets and humans interact to solve the murder of 1980s television cast members of the Happytime Gang. This trailer shows a new movie behind the scenes of what child puppet stars have going on in their everyday life. The theme of this new movie trailer is Detective Connie Edwards (Melissa McCarthy)comes together to work with a puppet private eye detective, former cop (Bill Barretta) to search for a serial killer through wild and funny adventures.
The Happytime Murders is rated “R” or the restriction by the film rating system where children under 17 are not admitted without the an accompanying adult in attendance with them. This is one of the new movies where a rating of “R” is quite evident in the first few seconds of viewing. Along with the murders of members of the Happytime Gang, there is sex, drugs, and violent scenes just in the trailer alone.
Funny woman Melissa McCarthy is joined by Maya Rudolph. Elizabeth Banks, Joel McHale, and Leslie David Baker just to name a few. Bill Barretta or his puppet name Phil Phillips has been working with the Muppets as a puppeteer since 1991. Written by comedians and puppet masters shows proof of why this new movie behind the scenes comedy is sure to be full of suspense and laughter. From watching The Happytime Murders new movie trailer, it looks as if there will be quite a few surprises in the story line and guest appearances from celebrities and comedians throughout the film.
