IMDb stated the definition of the group of DC villains, called the Suicide Squad is that they are imprisoned supervillains, on death row, who have been requested by a fictitious federal government agency to carry out multiple black ops missions. The supervillains do the assignments in exchange for clemency.

David Ayer was the director and writer of the film, “Suicide Squad.” John Ostrander was the writer of the comic book that the film was based on by the same name. The stars of the film are Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne.

The part of The Joker was played by Leto; Dr. Harleen F. Quinzel or Harley Quinn was played by Robbie. June Moon, also known as Enchantress, was played by Delevinge. Floyd Lawton/Deadshot was played by Will Smith and Ben Affleck played Bruce Wayne/Batman. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje also played the costumed villain, Killer Croc.

The music was performed by Steven Price. Richard Suckle and Charles Roven were the produced “Suicide Squad.” The production design was done by Oliver Scholl and the film was edited by John Gilroy and the cinematography was done by Roman Vasyanov.

The Independent stated the film was shown to an elite portion of the press. It has been acknowledged by Comicbook.com that the extra footage of “Suicide Squad” was shown. The footage was said to be vital and fundamental. They did not comment on what was in the content of the deleted scenes.

The Independent stated that as of July 31, 2016, there was no known after-credits footage in the film. However, they added that it could change by the time the film was released in theaters on August 5.

It was hinted that an unknown member of the Justice League could appear in the film. The information of the unknown character was leaked through a “Suicide Squad” trailer.

DC Entertainment stated the official name of the Suicide Squad is Task Force X. The definition of these DC characters is they are a host of supervillains amassed by their director, Amanda “The Wall” Waller.

Waller gave commuted prison sentences to members of the Suicide Squad, once they carried out high-risk covert operations in return. Every member of the task force was considered dispensable and many were not believed to return alive. Waller took precautions to guarantee members of the Suicide Squad would not try to escape or turn rogue, with deadly explosives.

The positions in the group are constantly changing. Members of the Suicide Squad include Harley Quinn, Enchantress, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and Rick Flag who is their field leader. Flag was also the only known supervillain to be a member of the task force.

Some of the member’s biographies are Captain Boomerang, who can turn a boomerang into a weapon; Enchantress, who is a powerful sorceress that can use powerful energy; and Harley Quinn, who is a perky psychotic villain. Deadshot is an assassin who is clear-cut about his work.

Looper stated the DC superheroes want to help the human race, whereas, the intentions of the Suicide Squad are unpredictable and selfish. The Suicide Squad first appeared in “The Brave and the Bold #25,” which was released in 1959. In the comic, the group was originally four regular people.

Karin Grace, Dr. Hugh Evans, James Bright, and Flag where the last four surviving members of their respective crews. The members of the Suicide Squad were all willing to raise their lost friends’ legacies by salvaging the world. Loop claimed the group was purely powered by survivor’s guilt.

The Suicide Squad is first employed to battle the Red Wave, a mysterious force that was heating up the ocean. The entity was eventually revealed to be a dragon. The creature freezes objects with its touch and absorbs chlorophyll from the earth.

The squad sends the dragon into space, in a rocket, and give it no means to escape. Looper also stated that in the first comic, the Suicide Squad shows that they are a tad suicidal, which is part of the definition of the group of DC villains.
